Use Your 2025 Dental Benefits Before They Expire

    By Patrick J. Soria, DDS | Blog | Comments are Closed | 31 October, 2025 | 0

As the end of the year approaches, I’m providing a friendly reminder that your 2025 dental insurance benefits may be about to expire. Most dental insurance plans operate on a calendar year, meaning any unused benefits will not carry over into the following year. In other words, if you don’t use them, you lose them. I see it happen every year, and I’d hate for you to miss out on the care you’ve already paid for through your premiums.

    Take Advantage of Preventive Care

Most insurance plans cover two preventive cleanings and exams per year, along with a range of other services, such as fillings and restorative treatments. Taking advantage of these benefits now can help you avoid bigger, more costly problems down the road. Preventive visits allow us to catch minor issues early, before they become painful or expensive.

Complete Treatment Before the Year Ends

The end of the year is also a great time to complete any recommended treatment you may have been putting off. Whether it’s finishing a crown, scheduling that filling, or beginning the implant process, doing so before December 31 ensures you make the most of your remaining coverage. If you’ve met your deductible for the year, it may make financial sense to finish treatment now rather than wait until January when your deductible resets.

    Limited Appointments Still Available

The holiday season is busy, but our schedule still has some openings before the end of the year. These appointments always fill up fast as patients realize they’re about to lose their unused benefits. If you’ve been meaning to book your cleaning, exam, or treatment, now is the perfect time to do it. You can schedule an appointment online or give us a call at 440.354.0705

    We’re Here to Help

Our team is happy to help you review your insurance plan and estimate what coverage remains. We’ll work with you to make the process easy, transparent, and stress-free. Don’t let your 2025 benefits go to waste. Schedule your visit today and start the new year with a healthy, confident smile.

    Sincerely,

    Patric J. Soria, DDS
