Discover the TRIOS3 Scanner

Get Ready to Discover the TRIOS3 Scanner

We’re always looking for ways to improve your experience when you visit our office.  That’s why I’m excited to tell you about one of the newest technologies I’ve implemented.  It’s a dental scanner that takes impressions digitally, which eliminates the need to use impression materials.  It’s called the TRIOS3 Scanner.

From a clinical standpoint, I like the scanner because its camera takes up to 3000 images per second, providing an on-screen 3D digital view of the impression.  Images are sent electronically to the lab, so work on your new restoration can begin before you even leave my office.  When the lab receives your 3D image it allows the dental technician to work on an exact replica of your teeth. This ensures the dental lab will create a restoration with precise measurements.  The TRIOS3 Scanner provides a better fitting crown, implant, inlay, etc. when it is permanently placed in a patient’s mouth.  With its advanced technology, the TRIOS3 can identify the exact shade of your tooth, so there is no guesswork and it’s a great match every time.

You’ll appreciate the TRIOS3 Scanner for these reasons:

  • It makes your appointment time shorter.
  • Restorations can be delivered in one week instead of the three.
  • It eliminates the concern over the correct tooth shade.
  • Your restoration delivery will be more comfortable with a precise fit.
  • There’s no additional fee for the service.

Although the TRIOS3 Scanner can’t be used for dentures at this time, it can be used for the following treatments:

  • Crowns
  • Bridges
  • Implants
  • Inlays
  • Onlays
  • Invisalign

If you’ve ever had any of the above dental treatments, you will be amazed the first time you experience TRIOS3.

If you have any additional questions about this new scanner or any services offered in our office, please visit our Services Page or give us a call at 440-354-0705.  The team and I will be happy to assist.
