To our patients,
Our Team and I wanted to keep you posted of this very fluid situation pertaining to the COVID 19 outbreak here in Northeast Ohio. Governor DeWine, The Ohio State Dental Board, and Ohio Dental Association are sending information to us on an almost hourly basis, updating guidelines to serve you and protect the public. As of March 16, we are discontinuing seeing our routine care patients in hygiene. We will monitor the situation with these agencies to see when the appropriate time is to re-engage our recare schedule. In the meantime, we will see patients in a consolidated doctor schedule only for “non-elective” procedures and emergencies.
Our office has always worked very hard to promote and protect our patients. We are continuing to follow the CDC guidelines, using “universal precautions” as we have done for years with our already aggressive infection control protocol. The disinfectant wipes and sprays we use in our operatories are registered with the EPA to kill the Coronavirus. Additionally, we are wiping down all surfaces multiple times a day, waiting room counters, door handles, etc.
As our office is small and low volume; your safety is maximized. In the meantime, we are consolidating our schedule accordingly, to work around these changes.
For those clients who have had a fever, have traveled internationally in the past 3 weeks, have respiratory and/or immune issues, it is advisable to reschedule.
We want everyone to continue to be healthy and provide you with exceptional care.
Thank you for your patience!
Dr. Soria and Team
